A few lessons with Sabrina, and Judge knew she was serious and it was time to get in line!

We loved working with Sabrina! She
came into our lives and helped us out
tremendously with our sweet but sassy
Kerry blue terrier, Mollie. We adopted
Mollie when she was two years old and
while she had lots of love to give it was
clear she wanted to be in charge and
was very dog reactive. Mollie was great
with my husband but rarely listened to
me and I didn’t know how to handle her
at all. I felt very insecure and
intimidated when handling her. I
reached out to Sabrina and it was the
best decision I ever made. She had a
strong list of guidelines for us to learn
and follow and it helped out
tremendously. With time I felt more
confident and Mollie quickly learned
the new pecking order. I can not
recommend her enough. It’s clear she
loves what she does and when
following each step she gives you, you
can see and feel the changes in your
dog!

Also on Google: Sabrina is amazing! We got our dog Mollie and we desperately needed help and guidance! Sabrina helped me gain confidence with mollie and gave me so many helpful tricks to use! We wouldn’t be where we are today with Mollie if it weren’t for her!

We have tried multiple dog trainers / training facilities and Sabrina’s techniques have changed our lives! Our Rusty was a much bigger pooch than anticipated and although a very loving dog, 90lb puppy type energy was rough. Best trainer ever! Highly recommend!

My Leo was a stubborn, spoiled little monster Italian Greyhound.
He was a sickly puppy and I carried him around and hand fed him. I knew that he was getting spoiled, but I was concerned with keeping him alive he first-two months.
Then, he got well and I was victim of what I had created. He was a little monster. Our two-other Italian Greyhounds lives were so disrupted, too.
I knew what behaviours were horrible and was committed to working hard with him to make changes, but I didn’t know where to begin.
Sabrina, first off, loves him. I was surprised how much that would effect his training and self-confidence, of which, at the beginning, he had none.
She also understood how he came to be such a problem.
She spent as much time with the humans reviewing the rules and steps for me to follow. I knew, each day, exactly what I had to do. We measured his progress in puppy steps.
This was not a quick fix. If any trainer offers you a quick fix, run. This wasn’t easy, but it’s so worth it.
Sabrina has since helped train three of our friends’ dogs and is training my daughter’s recently-rescued Pibble.
I could not think of even-one thing about this experience that I’d want done differently.
I am so happy with the results of Leo’s training and he is now an amazing and well behaved little guy. He went from being among the worst-behaved little dogs to this happy, obedient, confident, friendly, good mannered, fun good boy. 🐾

In October of 2022 we adopted a male 6 month old American Staffordshire Terrier (named Panko) with Demodex Mange. We obviously spoiled him to death while he made a full recovery from mange. We quickly realized he was a puppy full of energy and was easily distracted. Panko showed us early on that he is very intelligent however, we could not hold his attention for more than a few seconds unless treats were involved. We tried to train him with the basics but quickly realized we were in over our heads.

Sabrina came to us through a recommendation from a friend. At the initial consultation my 1st impression of Sabrina was that she exhibited the knowledge of and experience with dog behaviors (good and bad), and that she has the ability to problem-solve unique situations and successfully implement training methods in order to mitigate potentially bad situations. Sabrina suggested a combination of one on one training sessions supplemented with group training sessions. The sessions are geared towards training of the dog as well as educating and involving the dog owner. Breaking bad habits of the dog owner are just as important as providing training for hhe dog. From the 1st training session to the last Sabrina did not fail to impress us. Sabrina’s training methods were successful and lasting. Sabrina provided clear and concise instructions for us which were easy to implement into our daily routine even when life was less than routine. Panko is more confident, less stressed, and a happier dog as a result of the structure provided by the training. We could not be happier with the outcome and have piece of mind that Panko is going to live his best life.
It was obvious during our training sessions that Panko loved Sabrina and she loved him too!
We highly recommend her for anyone needing training for their dog!

Brody and Leohyre are learning how to have good manners and not jump on people and brody is working on being nice to his dog brother. Sabrina is teaching us all how to control Brody’s “bipolar” tendencies (lol). For real though, we love her. She has made our lives so much less stressful with our boy.

Alysa

Sabrina, thank you for all your guidance especially while we were newly postpartum; we couldn’t have done it without you.

Amanda

Made possible because of Sabrina!

Sabrina has completely changed my dogs life! I hired her to train my 1 year old Shih Tzu. He never listened and often got into trouble. She was very helpful in changing his bad behaviors and working on his obedience. She was knowledgeable about the questions and concerns I had about my dog. I also really enjoy the group classes she holds on the weekends, it’s a nice way to practice what we learn in my private classes. My dog went from being the bad boy at the family party to being the most well behaved one there. Sabrina also has a great personality and is super fun to work with. Will definitely hire her again when I get another dog.

As some of you know, our Bogo boy (who was my recovery buddy, becoming overly attached to me after my accident and as I recovered at home for 2.5 years) has been battling severe separation anxiety. When we would leave Bogo alone, he would bark and howl nonstop, all day long. We have been working with a fantastic trainer Sabrina Kent, and utilizing friends and family to dogsit so that Bogo was never left alone. Well, after over a year, we are proud to announce our pup stayed home alone all day today and was QUIET the entire time. This felt like a shareable moment bc we are so proud of Bogo for overcoming his separation anxiety, and also so appreciative of Sabrina for helping us get here!! I also can’t help but notice that Bogo was able to overcome his fears the same time I was deemed recovered and was able to set my own fears aside to return to work as a nurse. How appropriate ♥️
So to Sabrina, THANK YOU! And to Bogo, I love you, and thank you for being my recovery buddy!!! Here’s to a happier future for us all!

We love our John Wick!!! He is so well behaved, but also very protective. He’s the best dog ever! Thank you Sabrina for all your guidance.

Sabrina is a miracle worker. We adopted a “reactive” dog, so we knew he would need some help (as would I, as a first-time dog person!). When we first met Sabrina he nearly dragged the rescue team across the yard to meet her dog. We started working with Sabrina on simple commands (stay, come, etc) as well as appropriate behavior around other dogs. Within weeks we saw an improvement in his behaviour, and within months he was joining her group class as one of the “good” dogs for others to practice their reactivity with. Sabrina was so patient with all of us, and with her training our crazy pup became a crazy good pup. Would wholeheartedly recommend Sabrina’s Canine Solutions for difficult dogs or for brushing up on basic commands.

Liane

Sabrina is an amazing trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and understands pets behaviors and how to correct them. Highly recommend!!

When I adopted Jade she was lunging and showing teeth to my other dog Oliver. Within a couple weeks Sabrina got the two of them on track to become best friends. A couple years later I adopted my other shepherd Saoirse whose previous owner described her as being dog-aggressive (not true!). Sabrina helped me improve Saoirse’s impulse control during over-stimulating events and my three dogs not only get along with each other but happily welcome all my foster dogs as well. Everything I’ve learned from Sabrina has also made me into a better handler for my foster dogs too.

Christine

Kya has thrived thanks to you!!

We bought a dog hoping to gain a companion for our son who is autistic. He had major anxiety around dogs but through lots of therapy, eventually overcame his fear and wanted a dog. This was a huge milestone for him. My husband and I had not had dogs since we were young and realized that we needed support in training our dog as he was showing some guarding tendencies. We were extremely nervous that all our son’s hard work in overcoming his anxiety would be lost. I contacted a friend who recommended Sabrina. Sabrina was able to help us gain control over our dog and create an environment where our son is able to continue enjoying being around dogs. She is able to work with families that have little to no knowledge of dogs successfully. Sabrina is knowledgeable and full of helpful advice and tips to help you where your family is struggling with your dog. She uses both compassion and a sense of humor to make you feel comfortable during the process. She (and your dog) are worth the investment.

Robin

Nyx in her element, but mostly in her yard thanks to Sabrina! Lacey is also a graduate!

My dog Storm and I met Sabrina just over 3 years ago. I got Storm as a rescue from a woman that was very abusive to her. I worked with a trainer prior to meeting Sabrina for about 2 months and he refused to come back and continue training. I frantically scoured the internet for trainers and everyone refused to take on the daunting task of training Storm. Sabrina was Storm’s (Wormie) guardian angel. She took on this incredible task. Storm was very aggressive to men, would snap on a dime, she was so protective of everything she thought was hers. She was just over a year old when I got her and she was afraid of small places, doors being closed, being placed in a kennel, she was food aggressive from being starved and had no idea how to walk on a leash or know any basic commands. Sabrina worked tirelessly to aid Storm and I to be able to finally be able to go out in public, play with other dogs, allowing her to be a normal dog, introducing her to things that she was afraid of and overcoming them.

Unfortunately this incredible task was short-lived. Storm was diagnosed with a genetic disorder that caused her to become uncontrollably aggressive and she needed to be medically put down. Sabrina stood by Wormie’s side till the very end. I could never thank you enough for all the love you gave to Storm.

After losing Storm I was devastated and had a void. Due to Sabrina’s knowledge of dogs and dog breeds she was able to assist in finding the perfect dog breed that met my lifestyle and personality. I found an amazing breeder out of state. Sabrina called and spoke to the breeder at length to assist in getting my dog. Gunner met Sabrina when he was 10 weeks and 3 days old ( 3 days after i got him). All of Gunner’s training has been completed by Sabrina, and this has allowed Gunner to carry multiple certifications, all thanks to her expert training. Sabrina is very knowledgeable on multiple training styles,  she is knowledge with all breeds, she is able to work wonders with all issues. If your looking to get basic training or more complex training, Sabrina is your all around go-to person. She is worth every penny. I truly can not say enough about her, she has worked wonders with both of my dogs and I will never have anyone else train my dogs.

Sabrina checked in my dog while I was on vacation. She’s dedicated to her work and her dogs and makes sure everyone is happy – including dog and dog mama. She knows exactly how to interact with your dog, which makes every experience a thoughtful, playful, productive one. Thanks for keeping my baby safe and happy!

Andrea

Sabrina is the dog whisperer! She is amazing dog coach and an even better people coach. My fiancé and I have been working with Sabrina for some time now on our Husky mix. It can be hard trying to get our dog to understand us, but Sabrina has given us so many tools that have helped us to manage our dog’s behaviors by teaching us the right way to communicate with him. All three of us are better for knowing and working with her.

Mary

Lulu is a changed pup since we met Sabrina! She was lunging and pulling me into the street every time we saw another dog. Now, five years later, I can still walk her down the street without incident! I am forever grateful for her training!!!

Mary Lynn

Everyone is amazed at how well behaved and obedient Samantha is. She is now 7+ and we owe it to Sabrina’s training as well as Crate Escape.

“Gimme my tweats woman”

Saigey loves Auntie Sabrina. She says come over with Cody.

I often refer to Sabrina Kent as the “dog whisperer”! I have owned several dogs and have been to several different obedience training classes, and Sabrina is by far the best. She is a true expert in dog behavior and in training dogs & owners! Hers is a tried and true method. “Sabrina’s Rules” or “The Rules” really do work and we still have ours from our original training! I re-read it when we got our second Great Dane puppy before having Sabrina over to train him, and have referred to it on and off over the years.

My testimonial: who says you can’t train a Coonhound? Not Sabrina!!
